MYCLUB NISSAN OFFERS | TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ELIGIBILITY
Customers who are eligible to join the scheme are entitled to 2 codes per calendar year (year running from January to December to use themselves or give to a friend or family member).
ABOUT THE DISCOUNTS
The on the road price quoted includes VAT, first registration fee, VED and charges for delivery and number plates. Prices quoted do not include non-standard paint or optional extras, unless otherwise stated.
The offers available on the employee scheme exclude any retail consumer offers that are available at the time, unless otherwise specified on the employee pricelist available on the MyClub Nissan website.
CONDITIONS OF OWNERSHIP
All vehicles bought on this scheme must be registered in the name of the purchaser nominated in the code request.
All vehicles purchased on this scheme are sold as private vehicles. Vehicles purchased on the scheme are not eligible to be registered to a business.
Vehicles purchased via the scheme must remain in the name of the original purchaser for a minimum of 12 months.
Purchasers may be asked to prove ownership at any time during this period.
Purchasers may also be contacted 12 months after the vehicle registration and requested to provide a copy of the log book as proof that they have retained the vehicle for the minimum period.
Failure to prove ownership will lead to withdrawal of membership to the scheme and repayment of the discount by the employee, regardless of the original purchaser. Further penalties may be imposed dependent on the seriousness of the abuse of the scheme.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By ordering and accepting an authorisation code the employee is agreeing to abide and comply by the terms and conditions of the scheme.
Authorisation codes can only be redeemed at a franchised Nissan dealer in the UK.
Under no circumstances are discount codes to be exchanged for reward or offered for sale. This will be considered gross misconduct. If the employee is asked to provide an authorisation code for exchange or reward, this must be immediately reported to the local HR contact.
All sales under the scheme are subject to audit and where it is found that an authorisation code has been supplied to a recipient who was not entitled to receive one and/or where the terms and conditions of the scheme have not been complied with then the employee may be liable to repay all of the discount to Nissan; and/or be excluded from the scheme; and/or be unable to obtain further authorisation codes; and/or to receive discounted vehicles via other Nissan employees; and/or face disciplinary action.
Where a discount has been obtained in breach of the terms and conditions of the scheme, there may be personal tax issues for the employee, family and friends.
Where there has been a breach of the terms and conditions of the scheme Nissan reserves the right to notify HM Revenue & Customs who may decide to carry out their own investigation.
EXCLUSIONS
The following are specifically excluded from the MyClub Nissan scheme:
- Vehicles not listed in the scheme by Nissan
- Vehicles registered in the name of a company or business
- Non-UK residents
- Multiple purchases by one person within the allotted period specified above
- Employees who have left Nissan employment (apart from retirees)
- People banned from the scheme by Nissan
